Dr Clinton Pereira (PT)

Founder and Head Physiotherapist

Dr Clinton Pereira is a Sports Physiotherapist dedicated to optimising athletic performance and well-being. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Terna Physiotherapy College in Mumbai and pursued his Master's in Sports Physiotherapy from Loughborough University in UK.

Dr Clinton is passionate about sports and has worked with elite athletes in cricket, football, kho-kho, wrestling, boxing, and badminton, among others. His experience includes associations with Mumbai City FC, South African Legends, Kenkre FC, Mumbai Khiladis, and Olympic Gold Quest. He also served as a Senior Sports Physiotherapist at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai and was the Head Physiotherapist for the football-based Bollywood movie "Maidaan."

Dr Clinton believes in “Movement is Medicine” and through his 8 years of experience with athletes, he is committed to the holistic approach of health, merging expertise in physiotherapy with a deep understanding of sports science. In his free time, he enjoys training in calisthenics.

He is empathetic and closely understands the demand of an athlete towards their sport. He is experienced in treating a range of sports-related injuries, with a focus on evidence-based techniques and personalised care.

His vision for GRIT Physiotherapy is to help people live an active, healthier lifestyle by maximising their true potential through training and rehabilitation.

Dr Josheeta Shetty (PT)

Consultant Sports Physiotherapist

Dr Josheeta Shetty is a dedicated Sports Physiotherapist with a strong focus on injury prevention, rehabilitation and performance enhancement. With hands-on experience in sports medicine and physiotherapy, she has worked extensively with cricketers and other athletes, helping them recover from injuries and optimize their movement for peak performance.

Previously, she was part of the sports medicine team at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai, where she gained expertise in movement analysis, injury management, and rehabilitation tailored to the unique needs of athletes.

She has also worked with Mumbai Cricket Association’s Senior Women’s Team, WPL, IPL players, and elite athletes across multiple sports.

She believes in providing proactive care, understanding each athlete’s unique demands, and creating sustainable solutions for their well-being. Her goal is simple—to help people move pain-free, train smarter, and perform stronger.

Dr Josheeta’s passion for sports and commitment to helping athletes move better and perform stronger drive her work every day. Whether recovering from an injury or aiming to prevent one, she is dedicated to guiding individuals toward their best physical potential.
